a Lithuanian slang word used to define a girl from Kaunas (second biggest city in Lithuania). Usually used sarcastically by those who live in other Lithuanian cities, especially Vilnius.

She lived in Kaunas only for three years, but she is already a real Modesta!

A term used to describe a nightclub that is less about music and dancing and more about schmoozing and climbing the social ladder. These nightclubs often place a high emphasis on bottle service, which brings in large amounts of revenue; do not feature much underground dance music, instead relying mostly on pop hits and well-known dance names; and often require a dress code, enforced by bouncers who reject "undesirable" patrons at their often arbitrary discretion.

"I don't like New York's club scene anymore; it's all models and bottles now. If you want to go dancing, I know where there'll be a good rave this weekend."

Pulling a Modesto. Pulling a Modesto is the act of placing all your hotspots within 100m of each other completely ruining your chances of ever receiving any rewards. Originates from the the Helium coverage of Modesto, California which has been overpopulated with hotspots and the reward scales destroyed.

GUY1: Hey guys , just had my 10 hotspots arrive today, how far away should I place them?

GUY2: Make sure they're at least 300m apart from each other, wouldn't want to pull a Modesto !
