The device used in a vehicle equipped with an automatic transmission. Used to change gears, taking the place of a clutch, in a manual transmission. Has many downfalls, but commonly used in the United States because, sadly, no one can drive stick anymore. For example, the hydraulic fluid can be starved on hills, leading to transmission failure. While pulling large loads, the converter may overheat, which is why it is not used for large trucks. Robs the engine of power, as power is lost in the conversion process. Fuel efficiency is also lost, same reason as above. Excessive repair costs, as the fluid in the converter is required to be replaced every so often.

Vodka Convention

A group of rules used by friends when drinking. The rules should be written and signed by all members prior to drinking. The format should follow the Geniva Convention.

1.That basturd just passed up a free drink! That is a clear violation of our Vodka Convention. This Violation must be delt with swiftly.

2.Did he just kiss a ugly chick at the bar? That is definatly a violation of our Vodka Convention.

Coventry

A city in the middle of England. Everyone thinks its full of chavs and concrete. It isn't. Visit it before you make assumptions. Much nicer than Manchester or Birmingham. Coventry has the best ice hockey team in England. Footbal is rubbish though.
