Depression is emptiness, the point in life where you’ve lost sight of the light at the end of the tunnel. Or perhaps the only light you can see tells you that death is the answer, your ultimate escape. Depression is an illness, just as serious as any physical illnesses out there. And, like every other illness, it needs to be treated.
