textbook

A very large, bulky document, usually over two hundred pages, that requires scanning into an electronic folder. The bane of every office worker who must do this type of job, especially when the scanner malfunctions and one has to re-scan a part of, or the whole, document.

I hate getting a textbook to scan in the middle of the day, 'cos that's when my energy level is really low!

Textagran

A word that can be spelled on a normal 10 number cell phone with the T9 predictive text program. It tries to do the word for you and sometimes its wrong.

A sample Textagran,
You try to say 'I wanna kiss you' to your girl friend. T9 defaults to 'lips' before kiss.

Text Down

The technology equivalent of "talking down." The only difference is that it comes by way of a text message. In other words, it is a text that someone may send, only they are speaking negatively to the person as though they are not as good as them.

MAN 1 TEXTS: " You are an idiot! Why don't you understand?"
MAN 2 TEXTS BACK "Hey! Don't you dare text down to me!"
MAN 1 TEXTS: "Right. Sorry dude."
