A phrase used to describe the attempt of certain people (called "scam pumpers") to convince somebody, by promising enormous growth rates, to buy a particular crypto-currency. The beneficiary of this attempt, if successful, is the scam pumper himself.
"Hey John, come and join our telegram group "cryptopirates2k18" to recevie secret investment advice on cryptos."
