Referring to media revolving around or containing a character or themes that are based around the concept of an animal besides a human showing unusual levels of traits that are pertaining to humanity as a whole, and vice versa. (Humans showing animalistic traits or fulfilling animalistic roles).
It can also refer to fan-made media that is based on non-furry (or largely non-furry) media with the purpose of making it more furry centric, or containing more furry elements.

Furries are incredibly miss understood people and you may hear “they think their animals” from people but we/they know we’re humans.
Furries also tend to have a large respect for the Environment.
15% of Furries even have a fursuit which is their own custom animal from their imagination made into a costume.
Furries also go to places called Furry-Conventions where Furries can go to have fun being them.
