women could be brought into the Hetairai from different sources. They could sell themselves into it or parents could sell the daughters into it and they would be alowed to live at home while they got an education and were trained as a Hetaira and after that would have to report to duty much as a recruit in the millitary or they could be rescued from crude sex slavery.
