The peculiar state in which a person is able to grasp certain ideals, while not yet being able to live up to them.

The unconscious tension often leads to the characteristic nuisance of being judgmental towards other who apparently live up to these ideals even less.

Woke Person: "Dude, have you seen those fat SUVs? They really don't car about the environment."

Dude: "Ah comon bro, stop acting so woke."

Woke Person: "You're right. I should find dignity in my own path instead of judging others."

I’m Not Woke. I agree racism exists and has caused disparities, but evidence doesn’t support it as the source for all inequality of outcome.
