American athlete who pitched for the University of Tennessee Lady Volunteers softball team from 2004-2007. She is currently under contract with National Pro Fastpitch's Washington Glory and took the year 2008 off to participate in the Beijing Olympics with Team USA.

Monica Abbott is without a doubt the best fast pitch hurler the sport of softball has ever seen.
