Get the Hobbie Joebbiemug. Outsiders who join a hobby solely to change it to fit their standards without actually enjoying it. They ignore pre-established rules and expect others to follow their new ones without question. They attack fans and creators for anything they deem "abnormal" and engage in brigaded attacks against those who don’t conform. They have no problem threatening violence or sending death threats, believing their actions are justified.
Despite pretending to be inclusive, they reject any culture outside their own. When called out, they always play the victim and claim it's proof the hobby needs "fixing." They manipulate online engagement by botting Facebook likes, Twitter shares, and Reddit upvotes to create a false sense of support.
Most emerged during and after the 2020 pandemic when lockdowns gave people too much free time. While some pre-2020 cases existed, they were mostly confined to Tumblr. They can be identified by posts mocking hobby norms that receive thousands of likes, yet most replies disagree, exposing the botting.
When confronted, they typically:
- Play the victim
- Use ad hominem attacks against fans
- Trivialize the situation (often exposing their hypocrisy)
- Threaten violence against those who disagree

Get the Hobby Colonizermug. A hobby is something a person enjoys. It could be collecting certain things or even learning about a science field. Hobbies can eventually end up being careers or it could be just something you like.
Shredder's Hobbies:
-learning about paleontology, especially lectures and classes
-track/XC
-social media
-hanging out with friends
-creating logos for fictional schools or teams
Jason's Hobbies:
-collecting Jurassic Park stuff
-video games
-coloring
-playing on IPad
Basically they all have hobbies, which is something they enjoy. A hobby is something a person enjoys which includes learning about a science, collecting toys, OR video games. One wants to continue it in college and another just likes it.

Get the Hobbymug. Hobby Dollars are money spent on things that get classified as an investment but in reality have a very low probability of making any sort of return whatsoever. Instead, people spend Hobby Dollars for entertainment and the ability to participate in a culture outside of their actual carriers. This can be seen clearly in the Equestrian Industry.
A - "Hey, I just invested $100,000.00 in a new a horse! "
