A comedic term referring to lack of profanity or other cheap ploys during a stand-up set. Also refers to someone saying something wholly appropriate to you in mixed company, for example in the workplace. Working it clean is a sign of maturity, professionalism, and awareness. Especially relevant for young professionals who's weekend lifestyle is far different from the serious role they portray in the workplace.
An opposite of working it clean is Going Blue.

The state of clothing or fabric that is not exactly clean, but still not too dirty to use or wear. As most college students are too lazy or broke to clean their fabrics regularly, they will wait until everything is no longer "College Clean" before washing.
Guy 1: hey man didnt you wear that shirt the other day?
