Similar to Murphey's Law, but specifically for breaking things, regardless of whether or not the outcome is positive or negative.

Splatoon's Law

Splatoon's Law states that the vast majority of people who pick a female character in video games when it has no effect on gameplay are actually men.
Splatoon, for example, has a primarily male playerbase but around half or more of the players will choose a female inkling.

Guy 1: Huh, I didn't know this many girls played Pokémon Unite.
Goy 2: Splatoon's Law says they're all probably dudes.
