Street Effective

usually a term for the use of karate in practical everyday scenarios (i.e. gangfights, dojo wars, laundromats). Similar to 'Street Wise' but different in the fact that it is about the application of knowledge of the learning environment to the real world. It's also much cooler than being streetwise.

'Yo dawg, I'm now so much more street effective now that I know how to improvise instead of following a routine.'

Street smart

Don't you really hate it when somebody starts describing themself or somebody else as street smart when you know that they know deep down that they could describe themself as more than just plain street smart without people thinking they were egotistical and pompous?

Ask yourself whether even Tupac wouldn't be able to call himself street smart enough, and if even he wouldn't do it, and you are from the part of Kansas way past Kansas City, (Missouri or Kansas) or somewhere just like parts of Kansas way past Kansas City, why would you get on a National Geographic show about prison with a pseudonym and claim to be street smart when you know it isn't you, it's just an image you want (but you still think it's as hilarious to everyone else as it is to you what you're saying and doing)?
