The Chinese version of a banana republic. A fake communist socialist economy that is in fact capitalist in nature, whereby the country is operated as a private commercial enterprise for the exclusive profit of the ruling class.

China and many of the Global South countries that follow their economic example are merely bamboo republics.

Banana Republican

Banana Republicans are those to whom the Right is not Right enough; modern-era conservatives dedicated to eliminating democracy and rejecting the justice system including judges, juries and the official apparatus of investigative agencies, punitive measures, and oversight concerning Rightwing politicians.

Those damned Banana Republicans have taken over the Supreme Court and brought the legislative branch to a grinding halt.
