Antonym: That's so gay, which has been misconstrued to denote stupidity, which in turn makes the speaker of the phrase reveal their ignorance.

Speaker 2 - "Fuck! That's so lesbian!"

Hipster lesbians are girls that identify as lesbians, because being straight is 'too mainstream.' These girls are usually heterosexual, but act as lesbians for attention (mostly from men) or to stand out from the crowd.

Two girls kiss next to a few guys in public.

Guy 1: "Are you guys lesbians?"
Girl 1: "Totally."
Girl 2: "Being straight is so what everyone else does."
Girl 1: "Yeah, it's so mainstream."

The girls walk away.

Guy 1: "Dude, they were weird!"
