In order to maintain a closeness while there is an absence of physical interaction, you begin sending "sexting" photos to remind him/her how sexy and badass you still are while showing off your newly found hours at the gym and to prevent any possible thoughts of straying.

i.e. "awe my boyfriend just left for europe for a month. I can't eat that, I have to not gain anything before he comes back. I'm hitting the gym. Gotta get my sexting body on!"
