Traditional implements used to hunt cane toads include cricket bats, football boots, and 5-irons and drivers. Home-made cannons, built from steam pipe and mounted on dead lawnmower chassis, have been known to be employed in some of Queensland's regional areas in toading, as well as SUVs.
All in all, an activity that individuals, groups and families can enjoy.
