Robux is the virtual currency on the MMORPG Roblox. It was added in May 14, 2007, and it is used to buy items to customize your avatar, purchase gamepasses in games, and/or advertise your groups and games.

Mother: What's robux?
Child: It's the currency in Roblox.
Mother: Oh. Then sure, use my credit card and get $10 worth of robux.
Child: Thank you mommy!

Robux is an in game currency used on the platform ROBLOX. Robux used to have the symbol, ’R$’. The current icon used for the in game currency is a hexagon with rounded edges. Young ROBLOX users often beg for Robux because their parents wont let them use their creditcard to purchase a useless currency.
