When someone tries to retell a story or memory from the past but changes the details, usually to favor themselves.

Nima: Remember when I beat you in smash bros?
Mikey: No, I beat you and Navid!
Navid: No, you lost to Nima after you beat me, you got fake memories bro

when you are trying really hard to remember something, like when someone said something or if its something that happened, and you can remember up to it, and past it but can't seem to remember exactly it.

nostalgic memory

My personal Time machine allows me to go backward in time for the purpose of enjoying the good experiences of my past lived life.

Not to be confused with critical memory the time machine that searches out the bad experiences in hopes of finding someone to hold responsible.

I remember when sex was safe and hang gliding was dangerous but that is a wonderful nostalgic memory.
