Girlfriend:)

The one person who makes you feel as though you actually have a reason to live. The one you could never stand to be without anymore, and you wonder how you got by before her. The one that is there to make you feel special. The one you tell is beautiful no matter how often she denies it because you know it's true. A girlfriend is someone you truely love, and they should be treated like queens. Should one ever be treated like dirt, that male deserves to be shot on the spot. Women deserve kindness, adoration and respect. If you truely love her, those should come naturally.

Not A Girlfriend

Usually referred to as a NAG.
Pronounced: nag
Def: the title you give the female you are in a relationship with after the dating stage, but prior to giving her the actual name of “girlfriend.” Usually this person will attend events, go to family functions and act in a girlfriendly manner but not have the title.

This word can also be used on the opposite sex as a not a boyfriend.

Eric: have you seen how much JP and Kristina are hanging out? I think he really likes her!
Kelley: No way, she wont make it out of the NAG (not a girlfriend) stage for awhile.
Eric: yeah all the benefits, but you can still be single.
Kelley: Yeah, that’s the life.

The exact opposite of friends with benefit. It's like having a girlfriend but with all the bad parts and none of the good parts. You go through all the boyfriend/girlfriend drama and there's no making out, no hugging, holding hands, NONE of the good stuff. The worst possible relationship you can have with a girl, worse than being in the friend zone.
