Banait

The Banwait also spelled as Banvait or Banait is a sub clan of the Sikh Saini caste found primarily in the Mohali, Ropar, Doaba regions in Punjab, India. The hierarchy of castes in Punjab varies by the region. In the Doaba region of Punjab, Sainis are ranked at the top and are a highly affluent and influential group.
