(Pronounced Sn-ooh-t. noun) Refers to a cane's arm band being taken out of the handle. The snoot is also a weapon, used by spinning in many directions. If referring to a snoot, make sure that you refer to the cane you took it from as a "turkey". This will glorify the gods. When you take the snoot from the cane, make sure you stick the adjustment holes out of the window of a moving car with the handle facing away from you. This will make a whistling sound. If it does not do so, throw it out of the window or put it in the trash. It is of no use. This word originated in the eastern United States, commonly used to refer to a "leash" for birds. Hence the "turkey" part. The cane, used as an instrument when the snoot is taken out, Is most commonly played at or around graveyards or houses surrounding graveyards to scare citizens.
"AW man, the damn snoot just fell out!"
"Jeremy, remove the snoot. We have a gig to play."
"Come on, rope it by the snoot and play it like a man"
"You are not worthy until you can prove you have played the snoot"
"WE LOST THE SNOOT!"
