Although many people believe islam is a religion of hate, suicide bombers, terrorists, and sexism, this is far from true.
In truth, muslims, who stay true to the Quran are very peaceful. The Quran preaches tolerance and that discrimination based on faith is wrong. Muslims believe that the Christian god, Jesus was a prophet, and thus do not hate him or condemn Christians. Both jews and christians are seen as brothers to muslims, and the religions are connected.
Jihad is not a call to war, but refers to an internal struggle with oneself to do the right thing.
It is not sexist. Actually, during the time of its revelation it provided the most equality. Women cover up based on personal choice, so that people will judge them on their mind, not their bodies. Women were encouraged to have jobs and keep their own money. They were independent from their husbands.
These terrorists you see on the news are NOT muslims. They have twisted the religion into something hateful, similar to what many religious fanatical groups have done with other religions. They are ignorant and are in no way representative of the assimilated and kind muslims throughout the world.

A muslim is someone who follows mohammed and islam. simple as that. not all muslims are terrorists, but i agree that most terrorists are muslim. calling all muslims terrorists is like saying all christians are ignorant jesus freaks that believe the earth is the center of the universe and science is evil and blah blah blah.
I'm muslim and i agree most terrorists are muslim but that doesnt mean all muslims are terrorists. Thats only the pissed off ones in the middle east that kill themselves.

Coran did never mention that muslims should kill all non-muslims. It said: attack them if they attack you(like in a war). Terrorists are not muslim, or we can say that they're muslims that don't get the religion, wich means, dumb people. God did never tell muslims to kill any innocent (muslim, christian....etc)Conserning the way of wearing: people used to wear those clothes in the past. but now, the world has changed so women don't have to be like ninjas because, we can't know if it's a man or a woman.islam said that women should wear something that can't attract men sexually.now women are wearing a veil and respectable clothes. at least, for the non-muslims, we can know that this is a woman.she can wear whatever she wants, even if it's a lamp on her head or anything. it's her taste and it's her choice. why not criticizing hippies with their long hair and their beard?totally forgot that they're not muslims.I won't say that all the muslims are good. there are muslims that smell like shit and eat like pigs, racists and don't want to talk with "those who don't like allah"(i agree with you), but there are also peaceful muslims that are polite and talk with non-muslims considering them as humans with feelings and brain, and also as their brothers in the humanity.
