Along with the killings, several Greek inhabited villages and cities were burned, most infamously: Smyrna, which was burned until there was nothing left but ashes. This along with the Armenian Genocide (1915 - 1917) is continually denied by the current Turkish government which thanks to their NATO protection will never face punishment.
The Turks got away with both the Armenian Genocide and Greek Genocide but, you don't see a Nuremberg trial being held for them.
