Well, okay, so it's not that bad. Newark is interesting and it has some lovely looking areas, but there just aren't enough gardens to warrant its being called "The Garden State." I mean, c'mon.

a. I like New Jersey. It's a beautiful state.

b. New Jersey is just the state where all of NYC's trash goes. I hate it.

Quite possibly the worst area in the country. Gives New Jersey as a whole an awful reputation. Basically anyone from northern new jersey has no manners, and cant drive for shit. Also for some reason, north jerey natives think their area is awesome because it smells and looks like Hitler's Asshole. Also, they invade the nice parts of new jersey (south jersey shore) and show no regard for the people who actually live there. Locals often call these scumbags "Bennys." North Jersey should become its own separate state and be nuked.

North Jersey is the northern part of the state. It ranges from low-populated forest areas to high-populated areas. People of South Jersey criticize North Jersey for its bad schools, polluted air, lack of people who know how to drive, mix of ethnicities, and more. Most North Jersey people, due to the fact there is almost nothing to do in North Jersey for the summer, come to the southern part of the state and cause unbelievable crime and traffic in the southern towns. A study says that crime in the southern towns increase over four-hundred percent during the summer months. Locals refer to these imposters as bennys.

I'm going down the shore 'cause there is nothing to do in North Jersey.

New Jersey

Should seperate North Jersey and South Jersey into two different states, because many things about them are totally different.

South Jersey: Home of wannabe-Italians, suburbs, overwhelming white majority, farmland, lots of Philly influence (more Flyers fans here than in Philly), close proximity of convenience stores, Pine Barrens, tourist attractions, popular beaches, AC, malls.

North Jersey: Everything in Jersey that was cool about 30 years ago (Asbury Park, Hoboken, etc), more racially diverse, urban, older-looking than South Jersey, lots of New York influence, high pollution, and the stereotypical nasal accent... overall, just looks more depressing.

Most insults directed at New Jersey apply only to North Jersey.

its the beach not the shore, you've been to atlantic city and you eat at white house, its a sub, you can ride your bike any where, you don't need to go to the beach after prom b.c you already live there, you have beach parties, you can't wait to get away but once you do, you can't wait to get back, you don't wear OCBP gear-- any other one is good as long as you got it the right way, you know what crew is, you know that every friday night in the summer is reserve for a lifeguard race, you love wawa- can't get enough of it- and are there at least 2 times a day, the eagles are your team no matter what, you hear and know bad things about atlantic city high school, you have thrown and been to hotel parties since freshman year, and you know that south jersey is the best place ever.

Jersey Shore Twister

A drink invented in and commonly brought to the beach in the Jersey Shore area of New Jersey because it is against the beach rules to bring alcoholic beverages on the beach. It is gatorade with a twist: vodka. It can be served in a gatorade bottle or in a glass. Cheers!

Ex 1: Person One: "Hey dude, lets bring some beers to the beach when we go down to Belmar!"
Person 2: "No you cant! They dont allow alcohol on the beach! Let's bring out some Jersey Shore Twisters"
