South Oak Cliff is the southernmost part of Dallas. It runs along highway 67 between North Oak Cliff and Duncanville/Desoto. This area is not to be confused with South Dallas, which is the area surrounding Fair Park.
This is an area that has seen some good development recently, with nice new homes and shopping near the 67/I-20 intersection, thanks to the African American Pastor's Coalition who took the first steps.

Because of all of the tech firms in the area, the average looks are lower than is typical, so the standards are lower, too. A person who is a 6 in a major city, such as SF or LA, can be considered an 8 in the South Bay.
