I'm supposed to be at school today, but luckily it's a Friday, and I have a ache all over that made me stay from there. I was also supposed to hand in a stupid writing prompt about finding a dragonfly as big as a school bus and the adventures you had with it. Well, I guess I lucked out, since I have to do nothing but watcth TV. It is 9:09 right now, and I am thinking that most kids in my 5th grade class are struggling with that writing prompt. PS. Typed this with my DSi XL.(Isn't that amazing?)

one of the nerdiest experiences you'll ever go through. you sit there doing academics for hours, and you get home and do homework. from 1st grade through 6th grade my school went from 7:00 to 5:30. That's 10 1/2 hours! Now i go to this awesome school called Whitney Young that only goes for 5 hours! Anyway, it's a very constrictive environment, no independent thought. just dreadful
