Critical Race Theory

The most misunderstood theory in history.

This theory was meant to be used and understood in an academic context, but apparently a few people decided it would be "cool" to use in mainstream discourse (i.e. social media). Thus, the misunderstanding begins.

In all seriousness, for one to understand CRT, you would need to understand what "critical theory" is first. I am referring to the philosophical theory and framework written by Adorno & Horkheimer, which is basically a heated critique on mass-produced culture.

If one does not understand the tenets to this theory, then one should not voice their uninformed opinions on said theory.

Of course, perhaps the fault lies more in the people who decided to abuse this term. And in that case, I understand you 100%, but at the same time it's still unfair to dismiss it as BS.

Side race

A side race is any race in America that isn't white or black. They would be considered minorities from any region. The reason why I call them a side race is because they are overshadowed constantly by the 2 mainstream races which are the blacks and the whites. They aren't involved in the big race war that you automatically become involved in once your both ether race in America. The race war in America between the blacks & the whites has been going on since slavery days. A side race's symptoms maybe jealousy,envy,anger, or captian obvious. They often feel resentment that their race is considered irrelevant by society and that their opinions are often deemed insignificant and meaningless because they aren't in ether races shoes due to this obvious fact they are often observing and giving a outside perspective that benefits no one and that we can all see.

White man: Nigger please ha ha.
Black man: Yo alan thats not cool right there we've been friends for 2 yrs. but you can't just go around saying nigger like that.
White man: Well if you can say it I can.
Black man: Ahh hell no *knocks white man out*
Indian asian: I think you over reacted Jamal maybe we should call the police.
Black man: I'm not calling po po you must be up out of your mind f that and f you to you stupid side race! Nobody cares what you think we've just been keeping you around as a token.

Race relations

Race relations seemed better and less divided a few years ago, back when the Confederate statues were still around. At least back then, even if they argued at times, they were still talking points. Now that the statues aren't there people are expected to forget history, change, and compromise. That won't make anything better. Before the statues were removed people said they were divisive, but race relations seemed to do well. Now that they've been removed, people really are more divided.

Race relations don't improve if people don't get to discuss history from all angles, even the unpopular (unprofitable) ones. As long as one group wants another group to change, forget, or compromise, things aren't going to get better, they're going to keep getting worse. Sometimes (actually many times throughout history) things were already as good as they were going to get, then people were people, and they still wanted change, and they thought they could do better, and they all fucked it all up. They were all part of the problem, since everyone is.

Race To Pee First

When 2, or more people have a race, and run to the bathroom (for example: at least 2 males, at least 2 females, or at least a male, and a female if only 2) to see who will pee in the bathroom first if there is particularly 1 bathroom where they are.

Scott, and I would race to pee first in the bathroom to see who would pee first.

Smoosh Race

A multiple team event held in northern states in which four participants strap themselves onto 2x4s and attempt to travel 25 yards, swing around a barrel, and be the first team to make it back the 25 yards to the start/finish line.

Performed in similar form to cross-country skiing

Lena: "Ole, did ya here about the Smoosh Race this weekend?"

Ole: "Oh yeah, ya betcha. Should be a good time to down a couple beers before the Packers play."

race hot

A woman who would be deemed unacceptable in regular society due to her figure or scantily clad clothing is deemed hott while inside the confinements of NASCAR. Thus being deemed, race hot.
