A controversial full-service restaurant where tipping more money to the waiter means that your stomach can hold more food—even when it actually only means that you know/suspect/are aware that the waiter ought to have higher wages and nothing else. This is similar to how the YouTube algorithm interprets subscribing to more channels as having more time to watch videos.
Navigating YouTube is like dining at a full-service restaurant where every tip just makes the waiter richer, but somehow I end up feeling like I’ve ordered a buffet I can’t finish.

If you happen to be a mega corporation, expect to be protected from all sorts of criticism and to be able to financially ruin any small creator for showing two fucking seconds of footage you technically own but not really. Don't worry; they can't do jack shit about it. Youtube is also known for their piece of shit business practices such as removing dislikes to shield corporations from criticism and censoring anything to get precious money from daddy China.

Get the YouTubemug. A community with kids and teenagers (some may be adults) who has a username like “S1LLY_L0VER” with their favorite character in it. Or maybe “1_LUV_” and then their favorite character. They also hate Neal Mohan because they think he terminates their channels. They are known for making posts with “share this post if you hate” and then they put their least favorite character, a bad user, or anything they hate. This community was formed by 7 users in spring 2024. And now theirs like 2000 of them users in there
