Nothingteller

Someone who recounts the mundane events of their day (or any past normal day) in extensive and specific detail, rarely elevating the emotional delivering of their "story" beyond the slightest hint of anemic charge, while ignoring any attempts by the listeners to stimulate the story by simply returning back to the dull, lumbering recall of their dry, insipid happenings.

Person A: "You speak to Mark recently?"
Person B: "Hell no. He's such a non-stop nothingteller that I blocked his number, moved to a new address, and filed a restraining order against him."
Person A: "You too, eh?"

Nothing Ever Happens

A political philosophy which posits that history has become more stable and static than ever before in human history; that no large-scale world altering events ever happen anymore and possibly will never happen again. The global status quo will always remain more or less as it is now.

Those who believe in this philosophy are called Nothingbros or possibly Chuds, and the icon or symbol of the ideology is the Chudjak meme, though there is no real connection between this and actual chuds. People opposed to this philosophy and believe it to be wrong are often referred to as Happeningcels.

If something happens, but it didn't change the average persons day to day life at all, its not a true happening, and merely a nothingburger.

Person A: Did you see that the South Korean president declared Martial Law and is trying to stage a coup? This is huge, its gonna change the whole world!

Nothingbro: Its a nothingburger.

Person A: What? What do you mean?

Nothingbro: Nothing Ever Happens.

*Martial Law would later go on to be rescinded and the Korean president impeached, no long-term consequences have resulted from his event*

Notherapy Effect

The term for the phenomenon where therapy—particularly mental and psychological interventions—has more negative than positive effects on an individual. The Notherapy Effect can result from various factors: mismatched therapist and client, inappropriate modalities, forced or coerced therapy, therapy that pathologizes normal responses to abnormal situations, or simply the wrong approach for the individual. Instead of healing, the experience causes harm: retraumatization, increased distress, eroded trust, deepened shame. The Notherapy Effect is rarely discussed in a culture that treats therapy as universally beneficial, but it's real, and its victims are left not only unhelped but harmed—and often blamed for their own failure to improve.

Example: "She'd been coerced into therapy after speaking out about workplace abuse. The therapist focused not on the abuse but on her 'reaction' to it, suggesting her anger was the problem, not the injustice. Months of this left her doubting herself, blaming herself, more broken than before. The Notherapy Effect had done its work: therapy had harmed more than helped, and she was left to pick up the pieces alone."
