Turning the Other Cheek

An expression derived from the Bible; meaning, to love your enemies while resisting them non-violently.

It says, I will not seek revenge because I am stronger than that. I will not respond with shame because I have dignity in Jesus; and not in hurting you.

Turning the other cheek is a powerful response, as it may require a great deal of self-control, which is painful to do in some cases (see example).

I Turn the Other Cheek when my enemies attack or insult me, but now that they're masquerading as me, causing confusion, division, and strife amongst my friends... turning the other cheek has become painfully hard and I feel deeply saddened.

Gay for each other

When two males (sometimes, but not always, females as well) who seem to be heterosexual participate in a seemingly mutual gay moment. This act can last for seconds or minutes, however, if both participants induce this for longer periods of time, they actually might be Gay.

This act is usually innocent and shouldn't always be taken as seriously as it is.

Popular in fanart or slash fanfiction. Not suggested in public if giggling fangirls are afoot.

This phrase is an adjective used to describe someone who's demeanor is so cool that if you don't like them, there is something wrong with you; a literal description based on waking up at night, flipping your pillow, and the coolness making you feel so good you fall back to sleep.

Chris? Oh that dude is the shit! He's cooler than the other side of the pillow.
