dropping text

You have dropped text if you have been texting someone continuously for a considerable amount of time (maybe 10 to 15 mins consisting of about 10 or more texts) and then you stop responding, this could be due to many reasons such as, you are at work, in a meeting, fucking someone else (aside from your gf or fwb), on a date or in a situation where you cannot respond to the text.

The reason for dropping text or not responding varies from just plain being busy to cheating on the significant other texting you. Where significant other usuaually a psycho chick that's in love with you and doesn't see any reason why you are not in love with her even though it is obvious.

Dropping some friends off at the pool

(verb) The act of dropping pieces of crap out of your arse into a toilet or other body of water (i.e., the kitchen sink, someone's unattended beverage cup, a puddle on the road, a swimming pool, etc.)

I was just dropping some friends off at the pool, when all of a sudden i fell off my boss's desk, spilling the cup of coffee I was using!

formula dropping

Like name dropping, but in the context of test-writing in the sciences. Rather than dropping names to inflate one's stature, one would "drop" any pertinent formula to feign comprehension. Formula dropping would be done most commonly when one does not know how to solve the given problem.

John: What did you do for #3?! I couldn't even come close to solving it!
Fred: I had absolutely no clue where to begin. I just formula dropped as much as I could. Partial marks!
John: Oh man, formula dropping! I should have thought of that :(
