The dozenal system is better than the decimal system because 12 has more factors than 10 and fractions are easier to write in base 12, examples of that are 1/3=0.4 ; 1/4=0.3 ; 1/6=0.2; 1/8=0.1; and so on. Dozenalists use the term duodecimal instead of duodecimal, because duodecimal implies base-20, also duodecimal is a decimalist term used mainly by decimalists.
