no gooder

A "no gooder" is said to be the roots of the word nigger. Brought up by Dave Chapelle in one of his comedy skits, he talks about a group of racist whites back in the day having a meeting about what to call black people. Where they come up with "no gooder" which then turns into "Nigger".

An affectionate term to define someone who has done, or said, something that is silly or stupid (excluding acts that are criminal in nature).

The term is not offensive, but rather stated between persons on good terms with eachother.
