Supple term used to describe activities or chat that is playful, intelligent and original. Banter is something you either posses or lack, there is no middle ground. It is also something inherently English, stemming as it does from traditional hi-jinks and tomfoolery of British yesteryear.

Used to call out to a bunch of friends or just one.

Similar to Homie, mates etc.

Point to be noted: It is most commonly used by the local wanabe thugs in Indian Cities where the dominating language is 'Hindi'

Bantai !!!-aaj kyaa karne ka hai??

English Translation: Bantai!! - What you wana do today??

Yeh sahi baat bola bantai!!!
English Translation: You said it right !! bantai!
