Messenger ADHD

Having multiple messenger tabs for contacts open for example: Facebook, MSN messenger, Yahoo messenger ect. Thinking that you are concentrating on all at the same time, but kind of not following all the conversations.

Jeesh! John just typed me something completely out of context what we were discussing, I think it might have been meant for one of his other messenger tabs...he's suffering from messenger ADHD.

Trans man: It's an addadictomy, but takes a minimum of three times under the knife.
Frank: Is that the scientific term.
Trans man: No.

ADHD

It seems to be over diagnosed and self diagnosed lot. It's a lot more than just being hyperative or inattentive. While that is part of it, there's also other symptoms like executive dysfunction, auditory processing disorder, sensory processing disorder, rejection sensitive dysphoria, sleep problem, impulsivity, etc. I, a person who has adhd, deals with all of this. I am also unmedicated. you're more susceptible to depression and anxiety as you grow up being different or just being told you're lazy and you're a waste of space. i don't know a lot of the science behind this, but like i really don't care, these are my experiences. my brother has adhd too, him and i grew up with hypocritical parents that were emotionally abusive. well have a nice day <3

Value-Added

A term used during meetings, generally to sound slick and cutting edge. Means exactly the same thing as "adding value," which itself is redundant because any work project is supposed to add value.

Employee #1: By doing this project we will provide value-added
Employee #2: You mean we'll add value?
Employee #1: You obviously can't keep up with the high energy world of business.
