a nickname for walt disney world's polynesian resort. it's famous for its beautiful scenery, tiki torches, and actual hawaiian fire breathers/dancers/hula instructors. it's the closest you can get to hawaii without actually going there. many famous people (including lucille ball, etc) have stayed there.

leawood police

The worst of the worst police. They will pull you over if you are going just 1 mile per hour over the speed limit and then proceed to write you a $300 ticket. You will often hear residents of leawood complaining about the terrible police work but then still continue to speed and expect not to get pulled over and be written a ticket. Some advice for those moving to leawood: don't drive a expensive sports car or you surely will be pulled over and fined for a obscure statute.

"Man I hate the leawood police, I just got a 250$ ticket for going 40 in a 35."
