Pre-Summer Movie

These are the movies that are released before the summer blockbuster season. They are usually released in April, but sometimes as early as March. They may have some elements of a summer blockbuster such as action and science fiction elements, but they usually are not quite the draw that summer movies are since kids are still in school. These movies also advertise summer blockbusters heavily.

Alice in Wonderland was an excellent pre-summer movie that made lots of money.

Gimme Summer Ya Love

An All Time Low tour in the summer of 2011 featuring Mayday Parade, The Cab, Cartel, We Are The In Crowd, The Starting line and Brighter. The tour was a Canadian tour with select American Dates.

I went to one of the shows in the Gimme Summer Ya Love tour and it was fucking amazing.

An extended summer day. Referenced in the first Game of Thrones book, chapter 52; John (Snow). The description of a lingering summer. An autumn day that feels hotter than usual often referred to in the USA as an Indian Summer.

The day was hotter than usual and the wall seemed to weep.

It is awfully hot for October. It's a spirit summer for sure!
