Read the patch notes?

A roast that is commonly used by toxic Call of Duty players. It is executed when an individual showing their frustration, constantly dying in a game. 'Read the patch notes?' is a question where someone asks the frustrated individual if they read the patch notes. If the person who is salty says no, that is where you hit them with the roast of all roasts.

"Why do I keep dying peeking that angle??"
"Did you read the patch notes?"
"No... what do they say?"
"The shit players who peek that angle die"

A term typically used to describe any video game that has very little gameplay other than reading dialogues.

“Have you played (insert game here)?”

“nah I don’t play boring reading simulators.”
