Meanderer

A (usually English-speaking) fan of German pop star Menderes. This is a fitting name since the river in Turkey from which the word "meander" comes from is currently known as Menderes. Also fitting since, due to Menderes not being promoted much in English-speaking countries, you have to go on quite a meandering course of music research to discover Menderes.

I sing "Music Is My Life" everywhere I go, and if anyone sings along, then I have found my fellow Meanderers!

Mahnlik

A term coined by Sabein Naidoo in 2022.

Often used to portray the bond of friendship

"Mahnlik" would replace the word "dude", "buddy" or "freind".

Along with common words to associate your freinds with.

If your friend was younger than you.

You would add "lil" before "Mahnlik".

If your friend was older than you.
You would add "big" before "Mahnlik".

Whoa! Chill out "mahnlik", it's just a game.

"Mahnlik" did you see that car drift that curve!

Portugal just scored! Did you see that "Lil Mahnlik"

Spain just lost, did you see that "Big Mahnlik"

Term formally used by animation based angry reviewers that got so overused it basically became an excuse blanket term to bash literally any cartoon or just media in general simply because it has black comedy.

Guy: The way McGeneric is treated in this episode is so fucking mean spirited that I'd call it the worst cartoon ever.

When my teacher asked for the mean of our test scores, I couldn’t help but think about how "mean" can also describe those girls from Mean Girls who seemed to define their social world by harshness.
