Raceous

A derivative of the word Race. Raceous is similar in meaning toRacist, but in a less obvious way.

The word sounds similar to nauseous, implying that someone was sickened or made to feel uncomfortable by conduct and speech that was racial in nature but that same conduct or speech may not have been explicitly racist or was not proven to be racist.

My employer keeps misspelling Asian last names (<4 letters) in internal memos. It’s not racist but still rather raceous, wouldn’t you say?
