nerd

As it has come to pass, a nerd is apparently a person who dislikes geeks and denounces them as little more than second-rate, wannabe nerds. Anyone who claims to be a nerd is automatically not a nerd (as anyone who claims to be of a particular label is automatically not). True nerds are essentially smart dorks who still look dorky. True geeks, on the other hand, are smark dorks who act but don't look dorky. Nerds are generally academic in a general sense. Geeks are typically tech-oriented. Most all people who outwardly claim to be nerds or geeks are just pseudo-intellectual kids or teenagers who wish they were smarter than they truly are. True nerds, and some true geeks, often have a Clark Kent or Peter Parker complex: they don't proclaim they're as such, but rather they wish to be normal and/or at least accepted as viable members of society. Very few true nerds and geeks actually exist in contemporary society.
Most of the people posting definitions here are not true nerds.

Nerd Princess

This group of people is made of highly intelligent females who seem to fully function in everyday social circumstances. Often times they tip the balance of what is supposed to be "fair" in the world. The usually have a skill or several that they are exceptional at and then they just happen to be above average at everything else. These are the kids that sparked the invention of lame loaded jokes... like "yo mama" because people can’t think of anything to call them out on.
"Hey have you seen Stephanie Phillips?"
"No, I hate her. She stole my boyfriend, got a full ride and got a 4.0."
"Well at least you have basketball."
"She dunked on me yesterday after allie ooping it to her damn self."
"Oh shit she's a nerd princess."

nerd

Do not confuse a nerd with a geek, geeks are nerds that do not have the same motivation as nerds.

A nerd is one who does not care that he does not conform his personality to the norm. He/She does what they want and they dont really care.

They are usually smart and push themselves to be the smartest and best they can be.

not all nerds are weak and ugly. Some nerds can be quite preppy. Nerds have many friends, usually they are all other nerds yet in many instances nerds do have non-nerd friends. Nerds usually have a knowledge in computers and other technology, yet it is not neccasary.

Nerds are smarter then other classes, and as they progress in life they will be more succesful then all of the other classes (preps, Jocks etc.)
