An indie computer game specifically created to appeal to streamers and other content creators as a method of quickly gaining popularity. Can be any genre with varying degrees of quality, but most often takes the form of a mediocre horror game.

Person A: “Are you planning on getting that new game?”
Person B: “Nah, it’s total streamer bait.”

Can also describe a missed opportunity or lost chance

He waited for her call or any sign to show that she still cared. After a few months he realized that he lost the bait.

When Drake says “yeah” at the beginning of the song so people keep listening and it becomes a hit.
