Awkward Tornado

- Used an awkward turtle can't/won't break the awkwardness of a situation.

- Person verbally states that the current situation is an "awkward tornado."

- If used correctly, the awkward "cloud" should disappear, and the members of the situation should begin to converse, thus eliminating said awkwardness.

Awkward Crab

Is a hand motion similar to awkward turtle, employed when an awkward situation arises. Depending on the situation, makes it more awkward or clears the air. The awkward crab is made by putting one hand on top of the other with the thumbs sticking outward, bent slightly at the knuckle, and by moving the thumbs alternating upward and downward.

Speaker 1: Want to get coffee sometime?
Speaker 2: No thanks
