duck typing

Programming stuff.
If that thing can be throw into your oven and taste like a roast duck or whatever, and it lucks has wings and legs and ankles, that is a duck.
duck typing focus on the acts or the method but don't care what this thing actually is.

Jack: look at that bird, it can swim, it has two wings, it must be a DUCK.
Ben: That is a goose. Nerd. Stop duck typing.

Used when: 1. You have a tough time typing, 2. You are taking a long time to type.

Person 1: Hey you seem really stressed out!
Person 2: Oh I'm hard typing my girlfriend. She broke up with me you see.

helicopter typing

When using a computer keyboard, a helicopter typist stares are the keyboard whilst moving their index finger around in circles trying to find the key they are looking for.
This is repeated for each letter as they type, even if they have typed that letter recently.
