a place a where one goes when he/she immediately wakes up in the middle of the night and starts doing what he/she does everyday (half asleep), not knowing that they are in their bedroom sitting up in bed.

Dude I was rubbing my bedsheets as if I was in class, looking for my assignment in my binder. Turns out, I was in sleep reality.

function: noun

some sort of temporary tattoo given while asleep. Usually given by the dumbass friend who was bored and had either a Sharpie or a black ink pen. The face is usually the best place to lay some awesome Sleep Ink.

The act in which someone, often at a work station, is so finely on the cusp of sleep yet in a mental state of readiness.

Guy no. 1: What can you see on that monitor?

Guy no.2: What? ...Oh yep, that's not good, let's go sort that out.

Guy no.1: Dude were you just sleeping?

Guy no.2: Nope I was sleeping awake, it's different.
