Hot Gothic

An off-shoot of the gothic subculture. This sub-sub-culture group's musical tastes and clothing style center around the merchandise from the popular store Hot Topic. This group has little in common with goth-dom's more established sub groups such as the Rivetheads (industrial goths), Gravers (clubber/raver goths), Death Rockers (punk/goth hybrids), or the multitude of other groups. Usually younger, anywhere from 13 to 17. They tend to focus more on appearance and much less on the ethics of counter-culture, and often quickly move on to another trend. Hot Gothics can normally be found wandering in or hanging out at malls, almost always accompanied by 3 to 5 other Hot Gothics. Common musical tastes range from performers like Marilyn Manson and Insane Clown Posse to Lamb of God and KoRn.

Gothling

a) A fresh new hater of all things living. They usually still have a few conformist tendancies.

b) Someone who tries too hard to go against the flow.

c) Somebody who goes out of their way to be 'alternative', 'different', or an 'outcast'

"Marcus, stop whining, you sound like a freaking gothling!"

gothrosexual

A man who is, at the same time, trying to identify with the "Goth" culture and be a "metrosexual." Identifiable traits are clean clothes, shaped eyebrows, and a meticulously shaved goatee, with all visible hair dyed black, along with black finger nails.

This noun/adjective was created by my friend Tom and I while at a metal concert, where we witnessed the most clean-cut, eyebrow-tweezed metal fan we had ever seen.

That guy is a total gothrosexual.

Gothic hippie movement

A movement where people take the beliefs of hippie and the dark out look of the goths. They often wear long hair,love beads ect. along with goth clothes ect.

gothic people

Gothic people are just like everyone else. They just express them selves differently. Just because they don't look the same as you and me doesn't mean that they are crazy or anything. They are normal healthy people and should just have the chance to talk to people different from them if they want it without being looked at like a freak, or treated like a jerk.

Gothmo

--(noun, personal style)

--The combination of a Goth and an Emo style. Keep in mind that if a Gothmo actually calls his/herself "Goth", "Emo", or "Gothmo", he or she is a poser.

--Usually, Gothmo is an emo with a Goth touch.
Not usually the other way around.

Emo: Oh! I wanna cut myself, cuz everybody hates me...

Goth: Dude get a life. Life's way more than self-afflicted
pain.

Gothmo: Ummm...I'm confused...

gothic hippie

A gothic hippie would be someone who like to wear black, the whole black eye makeup, dark hair, black clothes etc, and who listens to alternative music. As well as this though, the hippy part would be that they have a big side of them in touch with nature, eg they may be against animal cruelty, vegetarians, supportive of recycling, dislike the destruction of the forests, and so on.

This is the best explantion for a gothic hippie I can offer, since I would consider myself one lol
