The most prevalent vermin in the USA, usually indigenous to the Midwest. Recognized by the following characteristics:

-Pretending that they have lots of money, but are actually broke after spending it all trying to impress people with their McMansions, SUVs, etc.

-Love of shitty chain "restaurants" such as Applebee's, Chili's, The Olive Garden, IHOP, etc.

-Severely lacking in social skills and intelligence, due to their refusal to interact with anyone other than their elementary/middle school classmates from 15-20 years ago.

Suburbanite: Ooh, I don't like it in the city! I might get shot or mugged or something!

City Dweller: Stay the fuck out, we don't want you around here anyway!

Defined as the personality transformation you go thru when moving from the hood to the suburbs. Usually a black person who slowly turns into a under cover white person. starts saying things like " oh my gosh" and "like" after every word. Listening to rock alternative music.. playing beer pong and drinking yagermister. start doin and saying crazy things.

Keke: Damn did u just say you cant wait until the new nickelback cd comes out? who the hell is that ?

Miracle: like You dont know who that is ? Oh My God! its like rock n roll sis! duh!

keke: When THe hell you start listening to rock n roll?

Miracle: all my friends at school do....

Suburban Curtain Twitch

Suburban Curtain Twitching is the act of standing in wait at the uppermost window in your domicile, and awiting for people to walk past so as you can give them a bad look, and hopefully be able to call the police if they are acting strange or dodgy in any way.
This type of activity is normally found in suburban areas, and most commonly of all is practiced by either old people and middle-aged men.

*Walking along a street, you look up at a window and notice that two of the curtains are slightly parted, letting someone peek between them. You point at them and tell your friends*
"Look at that Suburban Curtain Twitcher, the scum thinks we are up to no good"

Though the name "urbandictionary.com" implies that the dictionary is written from an urban viewpoint, most of the kids that contribute are actually angst-ridden, suburban teens.

Since these teens also shop at "Urban Outfitters," wear "Urban Decay" makeup, and join dance teams called "Urban Revolution," it's only fitting that they name their lengthy lexicon "urban," as well.

This domain allows Urban Dictionary to go back to its roots and truly represent.
