at a baseball game, you show up to find your seat taken by a senior citizen, so instead you sit in someone else's seat, rather than disturb the poor center citizen.

Unlike its origin "mancing", this takes place in public at bars, clubs, family parties, etc., and usually takes the shape of a circle with females usually within close range.
