A spliff where just one strip of pure tabacco is hidden in between the weed in a joint. It can be placed at any point in the joint during the rolling process and serves as a method to sneak attack yourself or those smoking with a heavy chop.

Chronic handheld check

To consciously and frequently check your pockets for your handheld when you realize you can't feel it or the weight of it in your pocket. PSPs', DSs', cellphones, iPods, etc.

Accompanied with this is Chronic handheld check panic where upon checking the pocket where it was thought to be, but not there one will then tense and begin to rapidly pat down all pockets.

Paul: *Paul reaches into knee pocket and sighs breath of relief after feeling his Droid*

Micheal: "Damn man you just checked for your phone like 10 minutes ago"

Paul: "Sorry man, I must have Chronic Handheld Check or something cause I get a bit worried when I can't feel it, and this cost a lot of bread.

Heat Check

A heat check is when you do something to check to see how hot you are. In basketball, this is done by taking a crazy shot to see if you are so hot, you can even make ridiculous shots. It is the most direct, non-subtle attempt to score with no strategy at all. In pursuing women, a heat check is a simple, direct statement made to a woman to see if she will be interested. A man is “just checking” to see if it works without needing more clever methods. The best heat checks involve minimal risk, because they are harmlessly “just checking” and not a full-blown attempt.

Guy 1: Why did you invite that girl to the bar with you so directly? Don’t you think it had zero chance of working?
Guy 2: Just a heat check. As long it doesn’t damage my chances at all with her in the future, it just checks to see if she might say yes to pure directness.
